The Moravian Sea or the Nové Mlýny waterworks is located at the edge of the UNESCO biospheric reservation – yes, even the backdrop in perfect! No matter how old they are, everybody will have a good time here. You are promised one hundred ways of how not to be bored at the Merkur campsite. Jump up towards the sky on giant air trampolines or go kayaking, ride on an (electro)bike around the “sea”, or try some fishing. If you want to experience some adrenaline, you will find that here, too.
If you go around the water on foot, on a kickbike or by bike, you can choose between a shorter and longer route around one reservoir or around all the Nové Mlýny reservoirs. You will come across many campsites along the way. If you want the best coffee far and wide, make a detour to Kafana in Dolní Věstonice. They also make fabulous healthy ice lollies there, which even adults cannot resist. Do you fancy a burger? The ones at the food truck in Drnholec taste like heaven.
If you are in no hurry to go back home, we recommend, for example, the wellness centre of Aqualand Moravia or the summer cinema at the Merkur campsite as the highlight of a relaxing day. During the summer season, they screen both the latest blockbusters and proven film classics. The evenings are long in the summer and you should not rush to return home from your trip...
