Just imagine. Sunshine, intoxicating scent, buzzing bees, purple lavender meadows and the sensual silhouette of Pálava on the horizon.
Welcome to the South Moravian lavender paradise. The story of the farm began in 2014, when farmer Staňa and his immediate family planted 40 thousand lavender bushes. And so, gradually, a photogenic spectacle grew up in a field below Pálava, which would not be a shame even in Provence. Today, there are almost 100,000 shrubs and romantic souls flock to Starovičky every year at flowering time.
For the family team that looks after the lavender fields, the most important value is respect for the landscape and traditions. They love the landscape of their home, so it is a given that they grow lavender in a natural way, without any chemical treatments. For visitors, this means that after seeing the rows of flowers they can buy fragrant foods (lemonades, syrups, candies, marmalade, chocolate... and even lavender wine!) and decorative organic gift items.
In season (June-July) you can come and pick your own flowers, attend a flower workshop or just sit back and enjoy the summer atmosphere. What do you say, will you also come for your iconic photo?
